This pickleball practice session is done with three players instead of two. The server is covering their half-court while the receivers have to cover the entire court and you compete to try to win points. If the receiving team can win 3 points off the server, a new receiver goes over and becomes the server.
Often many more balls can be hit in a practice session in a two-on-one drill than if you were actually playing a game with four players. It’s a full court against a half court and all shots are available – drives, dinks, lobs. You’ll see a little bit of everything in the two-on-one drill.
