It gives players a chance to meet other local pickleball lovers, hop into matches with players of all skill levels, and enjoy a few fun-filled hours on the court without needing a membership.

Wollman Rink in Central Park in New York, New York

Pickleball in Central Park? Don’t mind if we do! Participate in a clinic, hop into group play, or schedule a private match on one of City Pickle’s 14 courts, then relax in one of the lounge areas and take in the park. They are open all summer in the heart of New York City

Sunset Park in Las Vegas, NV

It’s Vegas pickleball, baby! This massive park is the largest in the county and has 24 courts, with 20 open for public play. The best part? Sunset Park is just a 15-minute drive from the Vegas Strip, making it the perfect place to escape the bright lights of the city. Trust us – you’ll want to grab your paddle, slip out of the casino, and experience a new side of Las Vegas on these courts!

East Naples Community Park in Naples, Florida

Naples, Florida, considers itself the “pickleball capital of the world,” and it’s easy to see why! East Naples Community Park has 63 courts and even hosts the US Open Pickleball Championships. Be sure to leave some time after your match to check out the pro shop, or take a lesson with one of the pros. It’s the perfect spot for a pickleball-playing break from the beach!

Memorial Park in Santa Monica, CA

California, here you come! With 16 outdoor courts, Memorial Park is a haven for pickleball players in sunny California. With regular drop-in times, it’s easy to find a match with other passionate players. Just a short drive from the beach and Santa Monica Pier, it’s the perfect place to hone your game before exploring the rest of the area. 

Sharon Park in Orem, UT

A mountain view and pickleball? Sign us up! Sharon Park has six dedicated pickleball courts, and every court comes with a scenic view of the mountains. Located just 45 miles from Salt Lake City, it’s the perfect place for pickleball players looking for a picturesque day trip

The Founders Courts at Battle Point Park in Bainbridge Island, WA

This list wouldn’t be complete without Bainbridge Island, the birthplace of pickleball. The Founders Courts feature six dedicated pickleball courts and six mixed-use courts. These public courts feature open and public play. 

Austin Tennis and Pickleball Center in Austin, TX

Everything’s bigger in Texas, and the pickleball scene is no different. With eight lighted pickleball courts, this is the largest public tennis and pickleball center in Austin. Reserve a court or book a lesson to check them out yourself. 

Gilbert Regional Park in Gilbert, AZ

Take in the mountain peaks and water views at this Arizona park. With 16 outdoor courts, there are plenty of spots to play all day long. The courts are still fairly new, with all 16 opening in 2020. 

Mashpee Pickleball Park in Mashpee, MA

Your trip to the Cape can include pickleball, thanks to several parks with dedicated courts. Mashpee Pickleball Park has eight courts with lines and nets available for free all day, so grab your paddle and make the trek to find a bit of healthy competition. 

The City of Palm Beach Gardens Tennis & Pickleball Center in Palm Beach Gardens, FL

No trip to Palm Beach Gardens is complete without playing a match at the City of Palm Beach Gardens Tennis & Pickleball Center. With 10 permanent indoor pickleball courts, six temporary outdoor courts, a cafe, and a full pro shop, this facility is where pickleball dreams come true. There is a small fee for non-residents and residents to participate in open play, which takes place at the Joseph R. Russo Athletic Complex.
