This video is going to demonstrate “if it’s low, go slow”. A lot of amateur players tend to take it fast and go quickly with the ball. Instead, you want to go slow.
It is incorrect to hit the ball quickly off your paddle in the kitchen, as this will cause your balls to not land in the kitchen. Even if you’re trying to hit a soft, short ball, you need to give yourself time to reset your feet and stay in position.
If the balls are coming low at you, you need to take your pace off, loosen your grip, have a grip between a 1 and 5 firmness on a scale of 10, take the ball, and slow it down off of your paddle.
When you loosen your grip and the balls are going slower into the kitchen, it gives you time to reset your feet and your body position.
