Two Person Baseline Drill for Pickleball

Description:

Steve Dawson

This drill is called a baseline decision drill. It is meant to have two people on a half-court straight ahead cooperating, working on the only two choices that exist in pickleball when you’re back at the baseline. Those two choices are a drop shot or a drive.

What that really means is that you won’t see lobs from the baseline. You’ll see power shots and drop shots. It’s the only place in pickleball where the decisions are quite simple because there are only two of them.
